Immune Metabolic Regulation
HOMEResearch Immune Metabolic RegulationImmune Metabolic Regulation
Our lab studies how niche-derived metabolites shape immune cell function within the tissue microenvironment.
We are interested in how these extracellular metabolic cues drive intracellular metabolic reprogramming and act as regulatory signals.
In particular, we focus on the metabo-epigenetic axis, through which cellular metabolism rewires chromatin state and gene expression.
We investigate how these processes control immune cell fate, activation, and inflammatory responses.
We further examine how this metabo-epigenetic network is altered in the contexts of aging and pulmonary inflammatory diseases.
Through this work, we aim to define fundamental mechanisms of immuno-metabolic regulation and identify new therapeutic opportunities.
